This policy explains what information PiNetworks collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have kept it short and in plain language.
Who we are
This website is run by PiNetworks Private Limited, G. Pyramids, 2nd Floor, Rehendhi Higun, 20134, Malé, Republic of Maldives, together with PiNetworks Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and PINETWORKS - FZCO in Dubai ("PiNetworks", "we", "us"). For anything about your information, write to info@pinetworks.net.
What we collect
Only two kinds of information:
- What you send us. When you use the contact form, your own email app opens with a message to us, and nothing is sent until you press send there. We then receive what you chose to include: usually your name, email address, phone number, company and message. The same applies when you email or call us directly.
- Technical information. Like any website, our servers record each request they receive: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page asked for and the time. We use these records to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information through this website.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and, if you ask, to tell you about our products and services.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of abuse.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser keeps a note of how far down a page you had scrolled, so the back button returns you to the same place; that note stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
Services we use
A few trusted providers help us run the website, and receive information only as far as they need to:
- Microsoft Azure hosts the website.
- Sanity stores the website's text and images, which your browser loads from Sanity's servers.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces, which your browser loads from Google's servers. Like any website you visit, these servers receive your IP address.
- Our email provider stores the messages you send us.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our business records. Server records are kept for a limited period, then deleted.
Keeping it safe
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to your messages is limited to the people at PiNetworks who need it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.
Where it is kept
We have offices in the Maldives, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates, and our providers may store information in other countries. Wherever it is kept, we protect it as this policy describes.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Write to info@pinetworks.net and we will reply as soon as we can.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
